As you and I both know there is no way to know unless we could look at all 11,000 of them. With that said I have seen quite a few that have both the LT and Z28 package. Of the 3, 1973 Z28's I've owned ( still own one) all have been rs cars and two were also LT's. My wild azz guess would be maybe 40%? I base that the fact that I've seen close to as many LT as plain Z28'S. But again just awag

Yea it seems like a good portion for sure. Prolly a little under half. Always thought the fact that they didnt get any Z28 emblems was unique. Didnt even know that until I discovered the wealth of knowledge on this site

FWIW, the '67 Z didn't get emblems either.

Are there any 73Z28s on here that are sport coupes ? It seems most are model Type LTs with the Z28 option . No stripes on Type LT models either . No stripe code on the trim tags so if you wanted factory stripes and Z28 emblems it had to be a sport coupe.

    73 option specs

    Z28 Special Performance Package 11,574
D88 Sport Stripes, hood and rear deck (Z28 only) 6,177

So... Somewhere around 5,400 Z28s didn't get stripes.
It's probably a fairly safe guess the majority of them were LT models with the Z28 option.

Neither did early 68's, they came with 302 emblems. I dont remember when they switched to Z/28 emblems, but it was sometime early in the 68 calendar year. My 68 Z/28 is a first week of March build and it came with the Z/28 emblems,so it was sometime before that.

I see no evidence that you have a RS core support.
