    It wasn't that longer ago that teams had "Enforcers" that could throw a punch but hardly skate! Broadstreet Bullies come to mind

    then you have the skaters who fight.... I mean have been in A fight. Could you imagine the look on Coery Perrys face when DATSYUK....dropped the gloves...PAVEL DATSYUK...the 4 time Lady BYNG winner...and he can skate and shoot pretty good too...;)

    Hell, Patrick Roy dropped his gloves (well, glove/backhand pad) more then many. He even did that after he left the ice. :eek::eek::eek:

    ah...the Roy VS Vernon!!! I saw that one :)....neither one were like Hextal ...what a short fuse...

    I chased someone once. Caught me 3 times with his stick.....attempting to redirect a shot. Each time he was skating away. I couldn't catch him!

    Ronnie Hexstall was the best. I grew up a flyers fan since the early 70's and when hexy charged chelios at the end of that playoff series with the canadiens was a memory I will never forget. I never screamed so loud at a TV set......Hockey sucks today. I don't even bother watching......
