How to tell aftermarket hood and fenders from OEM?

    This picture shows the holes that go behind the door, not into the firewall, correct?
    Also, is the picture trying to show one hole is round and one is square?

    Did you mean to say, the bolt that goes into the "top of the cowl", and not into the firewall?
    In my picture, I can see the edge of the top hole has square sides thus not a round hole, therefore factory replacement or aftermarket?

    Yeah, top of the cowl.

    FWIW the rear hole is round also

    Well I do have the three wrinkle sets. Sorry for relaying what I was told. Will NOT do it again.

    What we post is the only way to validate or reject information....need to keep it coming! The ugly wrinkles and the rectangular nuts are real easy indicators (when installed. Like seen above, AMDs fender wrinkles are deliberate and not only perfect indentations, but not even OE looking. They sure failed at an attempt to duplicate it...
