How would you build a 10 bolt for cornering?

    I appreciate you speaking up. I do. That's what I think these forums are all about and makes them great. I'll double check myself since I just learned that info from gear head.

    The 8.2, 8.5 and 12 bolt all use the same brakes, axle bearings and seals. The axle hang out on the Chevy rear ends is 2 3/4 inches. When you order a rear end from Moser they will ask you what brakes you are using and they will build the rear end for those brakes. The 9 inch Ford usually has 2 1/2 inches of axle hang out, but they build it with 2 3/4 and the 7900 housing ends when Chevy brakes are being used.
