I bought some of this rust remover today.

    I bought the same product last week at a place nearby - Tractor Supply. I applied it with a rag to surface rust that I wire brushed and after it dried it looks pretty clean.

    I'd suggest you sand on the spots after applying it. You may find rust underneath.
    Phosphoric acid from the home store is probably cheaper.

    That stuff works great!! But vinegar is cheaper...
