Speaking of the parents, where were they while their toddler was wandering around? Doing something more important like filming their airborne child with their cell phone? Taking a selfie? Hope they got some good footage of their kid.

They called off the event? Why? Were they worried it would happen again? I'm sure the chances were about 1 and 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 that it would. Good job. Better safe than sorry.

They are going to have an investigation? For what? To see how stupid everyone was at the time of the incident. I'll give you the results of that investigation early, pretty stupid.
