I've ran over and installed a starter, checked N2O wiring, MSD box wiring etc etc for guys in the area.
If we know you are close, we can offer a tool, show you how we did something,
weld up stuff, etc etc if we have knowledge, tools or equipment you don't.
I've had several buddies come over and use my blast cabinet, soldering iron, welder etc.

I see guys asking us for something, but don't post where you are??

Just a thought, I'm sure there are others that don't mind helping their neighbors??

Plus maybe guys that are close can hit a car show or drive in together.

Like on another forum a guy asks where to take a girl on their 1st date.
No state, no city, no price range, no info of any kind???

I don't mind people stopping by the shop when it's cold to use my heat.
I might have a tool you don't, or you need to look at my cage, wiring, chutes, wheelie bars, window net mounts etc etc.
A photo is nice, but sometime seeing the complete design from several angles will click in your brain for your project.

That's a given.

How many times have we seen guys post a ?? with zero info!!
We try to help, but he has a completely different engine, trans, suspension etc then we guessed.

maybe an admin note for a sticky or email to new members. a common curtiousy list making sure to hit these checkmarks, for specific details. like if doing body work: year model and relavent info IE tee tops, or split bumper, or rear end issues: year model engine trans and rear end,

One other item I have seen is there are times were folks solve the problem or question then don't add any other info. Part # combinations, Manufactures, or what I did to fix it.
