There has been a few times where I just kept on browsing due to a question which didn't have enough supporting information to answer it correctly.

Explain to me, how telling you my name is CHUCK SHARIN
and I live in the area close to Auburn, WA is putting me any
danger of having my ID stolen......
Explain in language that I can understand how YOU are going
to obtain my SS #, Credit Card Numbers, Pin Numbers.....
Am i that stupid or have I just been that "lucky"

With only your name and the state you live in a person can find the exact location of your valuable cars/tools etc. AND your trash can. Its true this is a friendly forum BUT its exposed to the PUBLIC who may not be so friendly.

To be honest, when I 1st got internet, everyone used a screen name or email,
so that's what I did, mrdragster1970 is my 1st email address.
Now a days, who knows what these frigging punk hackers can figure out???

I have no problem with using email, nick names or a made up name.
The issue is posting something with zero information when you need help.
A general area will let people know they are your neighbor.
Like I said, sometimes it's much easier to help a guy by showing him how you did yours??
or running by and check out his project??
If you get a guy asking to meet up or invites you over to check on his progress,
you can usually tell if he's an idiot or a nut from his posts.
If he's a racist, idiotic, nut job in your opinion, then he should be on your block moron list,
and you won't have to worry about him asking to meet up.
I might be a stubborn, loud mouth, opinionated jerk, but I'm not a lying, conman, POS criminal!!!!

Not as much on this site, because you guys don't dragrace as much as I do.
On other sites, ton's of guys have seen my cars, and either dropped by the trailer, or sent me a note saying hi.
Some even sent photo's & video's, so it was a win for me by posting photo's & telling people that's me.

One guy even drove down to southern Illinois to pick up my new trailer so I didn't have to drive alone.
We both own a business and could go during the day.
I went with him to Grand Rapids to pick up his car from the painter.
