Wife got me Drive a dragster again this year for Christmas, heading to Gainesville on Saturday, Doubt I will beat last years 9.93 @ 128 in the 1/4, hoping they have freshened up the engines and I get a good car.

Geez, I must be getting old, I didn't ever read that you went and put the hurt on that S/C stang. Great job Jeff, put another 10mph on the top end and those cars will have a tough time catching you. I would look close at that dampener, I bet it spun.

I thought you knew..I was pretty proud that I beat him in a drag race.
The MPH is off because I get harmonic in the driveshaft at 6000 rpm and it takes a bit to pull past it.. Not something I need to do.
I need to fix up my 3.70 gear set and see how much ET difference there would be.
But it is back to single 4 barrel now with hood on and concentrating on making my 400 LB lighter 1947 dodge truck the quick one.

Checked dampener and it was good, seems that intake and my RPM intake for some reason maybe it is the VR1 oil or something or my modified Ford distributor clamp on a Chevy intake but if I do not crank the bolt down very very tight the distributor moves when I rev it.
I do have it tight now and it does not move.
What happened to all my Chevy distributor clamps???

Something wrong there. Poor tuning, traction or driving. My N/A 9 to 1 302 runs mid 12s. 150 shot = 11.00.
