I have a failing hard drive something happened I can't boot into windows 10 and it won't repair it self or let me do anything.
I can read the drive on a different computer and everything is there it's just windows 10 is messed.
So what I want to do is clone the drive and then see if I can repair windows on a drive that's does not have any problems. My drive that I need to clone is a 1tb drive going to a 120ssd. the drive just has windows 10 and would only take up half of the new drive so I need a program that would adjust.
Ive been trying to use a seagate hard drive cloning on it but it's coming up with some problem and can't clone the drive. I have checked the drive for errors and it comes up fine.
All I want to do is recover my Firefox info out of it bookmarks and cookies.

If you can read the drive on a different computer and you only need to recover your firefox data, why do you need to clone your entire drive?

If you go to the drive you can find your firefox info in \Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Then copy it to the new computer/drive

Have you tried running this command?
Does Windows 10 have SFC?
Whatever the reason it might be, if you come across any related issues, Windows 10 includes the System File Checker (SFC), a command-line tool designed to scan the integrity and restore missing or corrupted system files with working replacements.

OK so I just copied all of the fire fox folders to a portable drive and ran that fire fox on another computer and no bookmarks! I will accept the fact that it seams that I won't be able to get the cookies and history back but there has to be a way to get my dam bookmarks?

When Firefox generates a user it names the folder a bunch of random letters and numbers, if you go to the profile folder in the path perviously provided you should see two, the old and new one, put the data from the old folder to the newly generated one.
If you have issues I can take screenshots

Thats the wrong folder, thats mozilla firefox under the program files
you need the folder under AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
Which holds your profile data
the folder is hidden so you'll need to type out the path manually
E:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

make sure to replace username with whatever you used for your account

Great!! So if the folders are hidden when I copied or moved the fire fox folder those were not copied or moved. If you still think they are there I'm going to need some help. I went to the command prompt in windows and typed in the path and it says it's not there.
I'm lost help....
