I'm starting to really like those PTR-91's especially now that I see they are made in my home state :).

Haha! That's a nice little subgun, ain't it? I'll take one of those over an MP5 anyday. It's even equipped with a "Pikatinni" rail on the receiver cover and factory mag couplers. Gotta love those rewskies. Maybe one day, if the Clinton importation ban is ever lifted, we might get to see on in real life.

I think you and I would have better luck moving to another state before they lift any AW bans.

this guy is one of the top precision smiths in the business or at least texas. he is back logged. he lapped the lugs, floated the barrel, bedded the action, cut and crown the barrel. built on a 700 action. i really liked the remington wood stock so we stuck with that. barrel is only 21" and makes a dandy truck gun leupold vxiii long range 4x14 40mm

My next gun is a strange one
Tokarev TTC - one of the ugliest guns ever made but they are indestructable (like most Russian designed guns) and the ammo is CHEAP. With ammo prices so out of control right now, I want something I can afford shoot that has real world recoil.
Yeah - it's not a great self defense gun, but that's what the XD-45 Tactical is for :)

Blue - I think you will find most H&K stuff pretty overpriced for what you get
