Wow, you don't see an original low mile car that every day. Going through the pictures I was able to use the photo of the console to correctly identify the screws used to hold down the shifter bezel. I would have guessed they were phosphate coated screws, but I see GM used chrome.

I wonder what happened to the spare tire? I know they didn't come with just a bare rim.

I was curious about the same thing. From one of the closer up shots of the tires, it looks like 3 of the 4 are close to the wear bars, and one looks really good so I’m guessing one tire failed, the spare put on and the bad tire removed from the rim & discarded and the rim put back in the trunk. Just pure guesswork on my part.

I tried to get my gaps as perfect as possible on my car. All the gaps on this car seem to have the same problem locations as mine. Hood, trunk lid, filler panel, door gaps. I guess its just like factory.

I thought the gaps look pretty good on this car. But of course not to the perfection of modern technology, but heck it was 1970 without the computer precision.

It’s neat to see some of the subtle markings in the core support braces. Confirms mine are correct for a 70

I dont know about that 60K folks.... Why if this RS car is selling at $60k doesn't it have the correct instrument cluster with the 7k tach no spolier, its over priced?
