Installed driver side seat i can confirm it sits lower than my 70 seat. The travel front to back is the same i ended up moving seat forward and tilt back to be where i wanted. The foam in the new seats are alot firmer and less bouncy. I will not install pass side till i get the new console. Overall very happy with them and no mods needed.

That seat looks great! Makes me a little envious of the flatter floors in a '70 vs the converter humps in my '77. Good job.

Nice, real nice. You should be able to sell your stock seats to recover the cost of those new ones.

Installed the pass side and turned the head rest correctly on the driver side. 541D71E9-8E96-4704-883E-97913AD0EBA3.jpeg

Same Seats in My 77, i liked the more classic look of these .
Had to mod the brackets a little but the seating position is good.

What mod was needed? They sit pretty low in 77? I'm 6'5" with a 78, cant sacrifice head room but would like some side bolstering and maybe a mod to make them go back further. Back seat doesn't get used ever.

Update on center console. I ordered the TMI console from Summit Racing on 1/22 and received it 4/5 so there is a bit of wait for it. This is on TMI it was drop shipped from them. Overall it is a pretty decent console best part it looks to match my seats down to the same seam stitching. This is a fiberglass mold then covered. It has no front pocket like stock (looks easy to cut holes and mount gauges if you wanted).you have to cut the shifter hole in the vinyl. Be interesting to see how it mounts up have not looked at the instructions yet. I hope to install next week.

No kidding. When I struck out to buy a Camaro, with no previous experience with F-bodies, I was shocked when I climbed into the first one. I thought that maybe there was something wrong with the car, lol. Ive driven lots of interesting cars before, never has one had such an odd floor shape.

Digging this up a bit...was there some kind of fitment issue in a '77 compared to a '70 due to the floor hump for the cat? I'd have expected that to be forward of the seat.

The Corbeau Sport seats seem to fit quite well in the '70. I've been looking at GTS IIs for my '81 and have seen an occasional issue with them being too tall, though they're shorter overall (and the base height is 1/2" shorter without shaving) than the Sports, so seeing this thread gives me hope for no fitment issues.
