Just in case any of you guys have a 1970 - 1979 Camaro - you are part of the "Theme Car Exhibit", so you get free entry into the show. I've registered Mrs. Champ's Camaro already. Hoping the show does happen. With the exception of the Chicago and Detroit metro areas, our surrounding states really aren't seeing Covid 19 cases. The show is still over 3 months away. Fingers crossed! We need some normalcy in our lives... And now, a word from the show staff: At this time, there are no plans to cancel the 2020 Iola Car Show, scheduled for July 9th-11th.
Well it's official. IOLA canceled this year. From the sounds of it they are looking to do a Rally Cruze in on July 11th.
Well visited the IOLA show grounds yesterday. Sad to see this is canceled but probally is for the best anyways.
While the show is on hold the rally is going forward cant wait. https://www.facebook.com/iolacarshow/photos/gm.624668078406332/1512273008935044/?type=3&theater
Survived the Rally for IOLA yesterday. Turn out was a far cry from what the Car show would normally be but was still good. I was impressed by how many people that were lined up along the 70 mile route that we drove.
Glad you were able to get out and enjoy it, Mike. Would have enjoyed going, but 8 hours roundtrip, plus the 70 mile cruise was just more in one day than this old man wanted to attempt. Did you stop by the tower and check out the bricks?
It was good to get out...Understandable about the long drive for you. Yes i did check out the bricks. snapped a pic.
