No camaro in 73 came from the factory with 4 core support bars, ever!
Sorry, in 73 Chevy reengineered the front support for the RS with a long and a short bar on each side of the radiator. They had to in order to pass the 2.5 mph crash requirement.
Don't be sorry, just be wrong! The 73 RS has two 26" long bars that replaced the 18" standard bars. Never did they have both on the same car!
Here is a 3K original car. https://www.mecum.com/lots/SC0516-243473/1973-chevrolet-camaro-rs-z28/
You're correct. Congratulations.
I was just stating the facts. Thanks for Acknowledging the facts!
In that low mileage example...
There appears to be two short ones in front of the radiator support and two long ones between the support and fenders.
I say you’re both right.
Fact. The 73 has 11 unique bars for the RS option that are not found on the 70 to 72 years. These bars are rare and expensive to buy. The 73 is the easiest year to spot the added Rs option because most people don’t care or know about the extra support bars. The core support can be modified to accept the 73 crash bars fairly easy.
Wow... thanks for all that.
