There are a few guys that kind of trailed off. Some will be missed, others not.

I never visited the SP and dont really know what went on in there (good or bad). But I do become concerned when i see veteran members start leaving a forum - sometimes its just a few, other times it kills the site.

I was part of camaroz28.com for so many years....due to some changes (much larger than the changes here fyi) it literally killed the site. So much so that some of the old members went and started a new site that still exists today. Camaroz28.com is merely a thin shell of itself. I just dont want it to happen to this site.

Not likely... This site is too big for that...
SP was quite entertaining but some of the discussions got way out of hand. I miss it but it's demise won't stop me from hanging out on here...

Ace pooed in his own nest.Liked reading his posts, got a kick out of them.He is a quantity guy over quality.

But once he returned, seemed like he went on a anti-GM crusade. And the mods gave him more than enough rope to hang himself.

He kept things interesting. But the GM bashing went beyond pathetic.

Could have been me, we both got into a debate over oil and gas prices. Before you knew it we onto Iran, Iraq, Syria and then ISIS.
Seems he took a sabbatical ever since. Didn't mean to piss him off, then again he does have tough skin.:innocent:

Honestly i have no idea how big this site is. However, I do know that camaroz28.com had over 100,000 members. And i just did a quick check..that site has basically been dead for 4 years and they have 2.2 million posts in the lounge...a good 1mil over this site. (NOT saying this a bash on this site at all). All I am saying is that even big sites are vulnerable.

If i recall correctly, that site was bought by a large company and got rid of all the original mods and change a bunch of stuff.
