5F06F6FD-C6C3-4D63-BE52-EC781F5FA446.png I found a 1112009 distributor on ebay that dang sure looks old and original. The seller has close to 1000 5 star ratings these last 5 years. I offered $320 and he accepted. Looks old and patinia’d but after Looking at other pics. The 111 appear to be in the same font i stead of the I’s i’ve seen on others. The seller claims it came from his dad’s car- a 70 z28 and has been sitting in a barn since the early 80s. Did delco-remey ever use 1s in place of I’s When stamping? It has the correct advance cam 530cc But so do a lot of diff distributors.

My orig below. I don’t like the 2 in the pics above, or all the 1’s or the 0 in 2019.
The 0 in 2019 should be a big fat O and not a number zero 0.

Is there anyone on here that Has a confirmed original distributor with 1’s in the first 3 spots instead of traditional I’s representing the 111 in 1112009?

Seems like your distributor is smooth from the pictures.....measure the thickness or overall circumference.

Exactly, there should be lines running through the cast.

It looks like it went through a rebuilder and was heavily blasted ruining the original finish and stamp. Does it have a 201 vacume advance pod? If so, That may score a few more points with me if i were buying it.. It may have been a original. If there is no 201 vacume advance i would pass on it. Also it does show a yellow paint mark at the base clamp area typical on a 1112019 distributor. The others show have them also.
