A previous owner put a speaker in the worst possible place. So I’m looking for the upper piece, as the lower is intact. If you want to sell the whole thing, I’ll take it.

Thanks, Mike

My advice, remove them and have them rebuilt by “Just Dashes”. Someone who has a set will want $1k+ and that’s if you can find the color. At the end of the day, $1500 later you have a used panel, but no hole when you could have have a brand new door panel for the same price.

I don’t need to go original for this car, have you gone that route before? Do I just need to source the fabric from Legendary or somewhere? It’s an intriguing idea

You just send them in. They take care of the rest. They don’t simply recover them, they have like a vacuum molding like process. Check out their website.

these door panels are not vacuum formed;
unlike the vacuum formed pastts, these are carboard backed with a molded top piece stampled in place with padded vinyl glued and tacked in place (with some stitching thrown in the mix);
My understanding is that if the vinyl was removed from that backing/top you would be left with a sewn together skin.

Yeah I’m guessing my only other option is to buy fabric and have an upholstery shop rework them
