My husband is a die hard car guy...and I am very supportive of his hobby (obsession) I attend car shows, ride shot gun when he wants to cruise (even though there's no heater, radio, head lights...passenger seat...) JK :p

Well he is one of those guys who has everything so purchasing xmas gifts for him is usually really hard. I need some advice from some of you gear heads. He has two cars he's been working on for a while including a 70's camaro.

Could anyone give me some good gift ideas for a car guy in his 20s-30s? What would any of you like to see under your tree this xmas?? If I can't find something quick..he's getting a sweater from the GAP...again.....:)

Be gentle now because I know NOTHING about cars or car related stores etc...but is summit specifically for racing? Because he doesn't race any of his cars (or does and just doesnt tell the old lady about it)... :)

We have a hot rod shop nearby, would that suffice?

basically a gift card to any car parts/tool place should suffice. Win win for both.

I checked online, it looks like we don't have one in CA. Could he use them for online purchases? I always get him giftcards and they always go unused. I got him gift cert. for a high end golf course (we took it back), the next year..a gift card to sears (still in his wallet) isn't there anything that I could actually buy and wrap for him?

Buy yourself something real nice with the money. I'm sure he loves you enough to be happy for you. :)

There's such a wide array of things you can give without resorting to a gift certificate! ;)

The Hot Rod shop certificate would work in a pinch.
Or maybe a certificate for a tattoo parlor. (With a hint for a "Camaro" script tattoo on his chest.)

Will he let you cut his hair?
Surprise him with the cut every Camaro owner should be proud to wear!
(If he has hair. )

    ;)
If we knew how far along his car projects are we could probably be of more assistance with something to actually buy, wrap and tuck under the tree.
    Any pictures of hubby's cars?

    A nice pair of slacks.

How about something you can share, like ballroom dance classes?

How much you looking to spend?
