Where is the oil leaking from? I found out the hard way on a ride up the turnpike to Super Chevy in my 71 Z28 about sealing the rear main cap on the bottom and sides. By time I got home the oil was cooked on my new hooker ceramic coated headers and it was not coming off. I had to pull the engine to seal the rear main and send the headers out to be recoated. Mark
Thanks, I really like the color too and that's what really pops for me on yours. I have kept it all original with 30k miles. It has the right driveline, 4speed and 3.73 Posi, just the 175HP 350. I keep thinking about an LS, but then think about how original it is and always decide to keep it that way.
I’d leave the 79 original. We no longer live in the 60’s-70’s where we street raced. Today, even if your flying through the gears by yourself, the Cops will screw you badly for speeding.
