the glare is kind of bad. but it looks like there is two pieces. one ss piece for the weatherstripping and another behind it wrapping the quarter.

    thanks,

I think the door panel holds it.

i think there is a clip in the inside of the door frame that keeps the cable from interfering with the window. Mine keeps getting caught be the window when it goes down.

The cable has to go forward before it gets to the window. Goes toward the front of the door. Should be clips or brackets for the cable to slip into. If they're not there you can zip tie them to the support in there. The control goes through the bezel on the door panel before it's screwed onto the door panel and there's a "C" clip that holds the control to the bezel.

I fed mine forward of the door glass then tucked it behind the inner brace, kinds of the loop if you will of the cable. Seems to work fine.
There should be a little clip but mine is missing

because I was curious...I looked at my inner door. This is the clip that appears to hold the cable

Yep, that's it. If it isn't there you can zip tie it to the inner structure. Then it goes forward around the front window channel.

i am looking to see if anyone has put an electric rack and pinion steering in their car. i have the regular manual one and it is hard to steer. hoping to find a rack that will fit from the junkyard. i see new ones, but the prices are way out there. thanks,
