Been nearly two weeks since the boy left for Air Force BMT. Well tonight he was allowed to call for 5 minutes and his mom and I were so relieved. He is doing great! Loves everything about it and was so enthusiastic about being there that we are no longer worried about his decision. :) Life is good.

    Will do. :)

Much needed. My wife has literally made herself sick worrying. She has probably imagined (and shared with me) every worst case scenario possible.
When she heard how positive and up-beat he was you could see the stress disappear from her face. It is going to be a lot more comfortable around the house now. :D

That is great news. I remember when I got a phone call home, my parents were not home, and no cell phones back then...lol

    Very nice!

Of course, with the drill sergeant right there, he isn't going to tell you how he REALLY feels.:D Just kidding, boot camp is a mind game mostly (unless you're a Marine, then they really do try to kill you...:) )
