Yet another Swede
I'm from Nynashamn outside Stockholm

I plan on getting a standard hood once the car is back together again. Subframe is down for powder coat and all new harware, bushings, tie rods etc etc. everything infront of and including the firewall is getting redone.

what a time capsule. dont touch that car. maintain it, you will get more for it in the future if you have to sell it. way to go.

Very nice car! Congratulations and welcome from an italian friend. I stayed two times in Goteborg, in the summer of 1991 and 1999, beautiful town!

Just some pics

This is a fairly useless post but at least is has pics :)

It has been a nice summer with many fine days
to drive the camaro, I got some Vintage V45:s
for the car, the only mod made apart from new
exhaust and shocks and misc maintenance + tune up
so I think it is ok to deviate from original as long as
no reversable changes are made, especially since
the wheels design works very nice with the car IMHO.

(And of course, the original Rally wheels are in storage)

Yesterday night was nice and warm, on the way
home I thought the lighting of the sky was a bit
strange due to a thin layer of clouds, I stopped
and took a few pics, I am not a photographer
and my camera is surely not the best in this light
so the focus is not right everywhere but anyway,
here are a few of them:

Damn, those wheels look good on the car.
So in Sweden it`s also great weather just like here in the Netherlands;)

Yes I really like them, also they are not as common as the A.R. TTII so
people seem to notice them more, I haven't seen many cars around here with them so maybe that's the reason many wonder about them.

Yeah, hot and humid is a keyword, thinking about firing up that AC again,
but then again, it's only summer for a couple of months here and those
should be spent with windows down, like to feel the wind when cruising :)

"New" engine

A friend and I installed an upgrade the past week, it's a mystery engine that turned up to have world s/r torquer heads, a reed cam and edelbrock performer carb and intake, one cylinder was shot and had to be lined. Otherwise just new gaskets and rings. I store the original engine to be able to reinstall it later on. But for now I'll have some fun with the current setup.

Thank you all for your greetings and responses. I'm really looking forward
to this summer, it will probably reveal some "must-do" work on the car
but I'll take it easy in the beginning. Now if only spring would come sooner...
Just curios. Is Sweden left hand drive or right hand drive?
