Very rarely (unless its a Cuda or a Superbird), can you put $150K in a car and its worth that much or more. Very few people consider the cost to get to the end product, it is about market value. People bank on buying done cars to save money and let you eat the cost of restoration. Or else...I would build it myself...the way I want it. Not the way you wanted it.

1975 is actually the 2nd most valuable first refresh camaro after the 74 because it's the last car thats emissions exempt in most states including California. (I believe it's all 50 states but I'm not 100% sure on that)

Wasn't long ago that you couldn't give away a '75 anything. (well maybe a TransAm)

Very true! This is the exact (no kidding) reason why I bought my 70 and sold the 78. I think Utah is still hard over for 1967+ for smog, but no factory cats in 74 and older is a ton of help! (Corrected!)

I didn't even know that when I bought my car, I was very happy to find that out when I decided I wanted to swap the engine haha

if your building cars to make money,,,,your in the wrong business. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.that is a sweet car....i wish him luck.sounds like a lot of money but look at them car shows where they bring in a 50,000 car..and they cut it up throw it away, then rebuild it for 100,000...lol...just to get on tv i guess...anything is possible...

Oh Yes, I'm wrong. Thanks for the correction. California on the brain...They exempt 1975 which turned my mind off.
