Ad says they are for side windows.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see how you would use them on a 2nd gen Camaro.

Are these used to set the depth of the glass or the distance to the edge?
Helps you get window squared up to opening properly, you are supposed to sit in the car and make adjustments to get glass touching all the gauge blocks. Pretty well laid out in the Fisher body manual. I just got doing my driver side without them (just ordered them last night). Took about 2 hours or so to where I am pretty happy with it, I have to replace pass side glass and we'll see how much quicker it is with these. I'll also double check the drivers side, and see how close I got it without them. I just put new Autocity glass in and my old marks are close on the in/out adjustment on the tracks at the top of the door, but the rear sash guide track is in a totally different position (that sets angle of glass against top weatherstrip) and I had to move the rear guide forward a bit to get a good gap on the pillar area of the seal, was very close to hitting the metal part of the weatherstrip retainer ( Ihave the gutters installed on my windows).

Did you get your gauge blocks? I’m curious to see how they work and are they worth buying?

The Fisher Body Manual covers all body styles (in general). The Fisher Body F car service manual does not mention gauge blocks to align door glass.

Concur, the blocks don’t make sense and they are not needed. To effectively use them anyways you would have to remove the seals and the track then you would just have to eyeball it due to the seals.

I bought these same blocks but have not used them yet. I have a '79 Fisher Body manual and it does describe the use of gauge blocks. The seal must be removed but the blocks clip into the weatherstrip track. I am looking forward to using them one day.
