    A little update

Here are a few photos of my progress so far, getting close!

Coming home from Body shop [IMG][/URL]

Stripped firewall for detail and prep for Vintage air[IMG]

Install sound deadener and cut hole for 4speed, I cant wait! [IMG]

Installed the engine, had a little problem with headers fitting, but a quick scan of NASTY Z 28 and I found the cure. One must remove the bars that attatch to the sub frame for the headers to clear, I am going to mod up some news ones I'm sure they need to be there esp on a t-top car.

Engine in and Vintage Air in also installed electric fan and ditched the old cooling fan and shroud.

Going back with this 70-72 console, I think the look alot better![IMG]

Engine fired up with no problem and runs great, did the cam break in gig and she has gone to the muffler shop for Flo master 50's and H pipe w/2.5 exhaust.

Did notice that the gearing is going to be a issue which I knew it would be. I honestly believe I could have gotten to 80 mph in first gear, that m21 has a 2.20 first with that 3.08 gives it a really really high take off in first. LOL.
I'm thinking a 3.73 posi and later down the road when I can afford it a Tremec 5speed.

The MG was my mom's and I have lots.of.great memories tearing up the streets (and a few sidewalks!) in it. After I get my Camaro done, I am going to do a complete rebuild on that.

    Your Camaro is looking great!

Yup, there was a neighbourhood close to where I grew up that was full of large, expensive houses. Unlike my neighbourhood, they didn't have any alleys but there were a series of walking paths with kids play areas spread through out them.

One evening while in highschool and out running around in the MG with a friend, we were zipping through that area and we saw an entrance to one of the walkways. It had steel posts on either side and we decided to see if the car would fit. Sure enough it did and so we went for a short joyride down the walkways! Figured if I was ever being chased by the cops, I could zip into the neighbourhood, scoot down the walkways and back onto the main road before the cops could figure out where I'd gone. Of course, that was back before the city police had a helicopter!

In any case, it was just teenage bravado talking, never did anything that would have actually necessitated running from the cops like that, but it was fun to think about!

Looking great! Silver ones would look good, but I vote to stay with the blue stripes.
