Dave we were going to Decatur rd, The Meadows and Front St in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I got my drivers license in 1973 so before that I was a passenger or being stupid and driving without one. You should appreciate this picture..

Mark, I raced on that street from 1968-1973. Cops would come turn on the fire hydrants, then we would go to Front st., by the time we got back the street was dry, and continued to race. The last car I raced there was built as a sleeper to make some money. Bought a new 1972 SS Nova, pulled out the 350 and bought a 454 LS6 long block from Reedmans added the usual goodies, kept the hub caps, car looked stock (didn't sound it), made some money until others caught on.

Cool pictures you guys! Sure wish I had some old vintage pics like that of my L78.. I didn't start driving (legally) until 1977 and bought my 1st car in 1978... a 1970 Camaro! Come to think of it, I've always owned at least one 1970 Camaro ever since then for 39 years in a row and still counting!
