That's a good look'n youngan. Congrats again. My niece just went through something similar a week ago. She was all involved in an "all natural/wild" birth online community(cult)...wanting to be at home, in the bath tub, no medical assistance, no midwife, no nothing but her, her fiance and mother. As a matter of fact, she had stopped all prenatal care because the OBGYN told her she shouldn't attempt a natural birth since she already had 2 kids via C-section. She didn't like his opinion and quit going. Her water broke and she was "in labor" for 41 hours. All that time she was attempting to push. The pain became unbearable for her and they finally took her to the hospital. They discovered that she was severely dehydrated and had only dilated 1cm. That baby wasn't coming through the main exit. Sent her straight back for an emergency C-section. They told her at the hospital that she was probably a couple of hours from a catastrophe. That's what happens when you ignore the experts and live as a "google mom" and blogger. Get this, when she posted her experience with the natural birth community, they shamed her for evening going to the hospital.
