I wonder if this is a quick flip from the Mecum Indy auction? It was a no sale there at 87K but the seller now is in Florida. I thought Larry was out of Illinois but maybe he moved. The seller has a few other cars on BAT also.

I know Larry G. and Mike S...both super guys and the car really is very well done. Mike's talents and craftsmanship is over the top and the car is spectacular up close and in person. Not sure if the car changed hands between Mecum and BaT, but hope it finds a good stable home.

What is allegedly wrong with the stripes?
Space between them should be closer...almost touching each side of the spoiler emblem and Van Nuys stopped the stripes approx. 1" short of the rear window trim. Very different than Norwood and not per the AIM dimensions.

With a vinyl top those stripes look correct to me.
You are correct!...I'm used to seeing non-vinyl top cars
...but stripes should still be closer together for Van Nuys

The stripes definitely don’t look like Charlie’s 1100 mile car . The stripes may of been like that ? but they both left the same Van Nuys plant .
