LED can lights, wiring wrong?

were you just replacing OLD cans with LED?
Or
did you ADD cans to an existing circuit
OR
did you add an entire circuit (switch and cans)

If they are new LEDs, they could be defective.
Try switching the "bad" ones to another circuit where the LED bulbs are working.

I would disconnect everything then check for voltage at each wire. Got something crossed.

This is not the case for household LED lighting. These have a power supply in them that will likely work just fine reversed.

I hard wired my leds, and had an issue where they wouldn’t run properly. I had 4 run succession/parallel. Found out one of them was reversed wiring causing all 4 of them to not power on.
I figured it out going through each one and testing.

Mine indeed did matter reversing, but I wonder if it’s because 3 was correct and one was backwards I guess that could mess it all up
