I've seen a few threads on this stuff, they're over a decade old though. I saw a few people applied it recently as well. From what I have found, some people love it, some people hate it.

I think I'll probably use the ceramic and sound for the inside of my car (and boom mats for the doors) but does anyone like using this stuff for under your car? Should you use both ceramic and sound proofing? or just use their ceramic stuff.

Thoughts and suggestions would be welcome, alternative product suggestions are welcome as well.

It’s more common to see upol Raptor used on the underside.

I haven't heard of that one, I'll look into it. Looks to be a lot cheaper too, which is always nice. Doesn't seem to provide any thermal protection, but that would be more useful in the interior anyways.

Just finished doing my '80 this past summer ,

Lizard skin Ceramic thermal barrier on the interior first , then a layer of boom mat .

Very pleased with the outcome , don't be shy with either product especially the boom mat , really made mine a different car to ride in now .

I heard that Spectrum from SecondSkin is a good product also.
