built a few in my younger days and now interested in buying a completed or project car. Live in northern california but willing to travel for the right car. Looking for something mostly all original rather then one that has alot of customization. Ross 530ktmpilot@gmail.com

May have what your looking for in Se Texas.
True 72 Z28, no # matching but period correct drive train. Body work done and painted.
    Midnight bronze with white stripes.
Not looking to sell but at a stand still on the project.

Thanks to all for your help. Found a great all original numbers matching z28 project in chicago and minimal rust too. Been sitting in a garage for 17 years and price was reasonable (and owner turned out to be a great guy too!).

Excellent! I didn't know that "Chicago" and "minimal rust" went hand in hand.

The car was ziebarted when new so access plugs in Rockers, doors, Quarters, etc. that coupled with sitting in a dry garage the last 25 years and never driven outside for 17 years preserved it pretty well. I realize that’s the exception with cars from that area which made it a great find!

I knew it must have had a story behind the last 50ish years. Congrats on your find!
