With your budget of $12K (is that CAD or USD)? For a '70 Z that is not realistic unless that is USD and maybe you will end up with something that needs a ton of work and most of the high dollar parts and drivetrain missing, if that is $12K CAD best of luck as there is nothing on the market in that price range.

Maybe have a look at your budget again, the reason I say this is for probably $8-$15K more you can end up with a more complete car and most of those hard to find parts will be with there versus missing and having to buy after the fact. If your budget is tight and you want to buy stuff over time that could also happen, maybe set your goal for the purchase based on what you will do with the project. So if you want a stock vehicle then spend more up front, if you are building a driver with a crate engine and after market parts then the lower end of your budget might work.

Best of luck with your hunt.

Yea i know that with a 20000$ 30000$ Budget i can get a car that barely need work done hence why the 12k tag the best i can get is a ordinary camaro or a clone that will need alot of work , i had a guy trying to sell me one for 16500$ which need alot of work and said it was a real ss when it was not.

What about 20000$ cad for a rs ss or z28 if it is not show room and need some work, i know i will need to put another 10000$ to have it clean.

    i don’t intend to resell

Is Montreal still famous for clones being sold as the real deal? No BS, a friend of mine has one, a 1971 SS396 Camaro. You came across one from your #4 post.

1970 Z28, 350, M21, 12 Bolt 4:10, GM letter confirming IMG_0214.JPG Z28, mechanically complete, daily driver, likes gasoline but fun to drive. Interior is 75% complete and obviously needs a good body and paint man!
