Looking for rear-end gears

    I am looking for 3.73 or 4.11 rear-end gears for my 1973 Camaro. Currently has a 10-bolt rear end with 2.73, 8.5" ring gear. Would like to get an 8.5" ring gear.

    I am also looking for a limited slip or posi differential to fit with the 3.73 or 4.11 gears. I will have to check the spline-count on the axles.

    I'm in Boise, ID.

    If the axles are stock, you have 28 spline axles.

    You can get gears and limited slip units from the usual sources -- Summit, Jegs, etc. a better option is either Randy's Ring and Pinion or Tom's Differentials. Search this forum for posts from Freddie (screen name big gear head) and his recommendations on the subject. Good luck.

    I have some 5.13 gears I'll sell you cheap! I swapped them out of mine for 3.73 gears.

    I have some 3.42's that are Jegs brand brand new in the box. $100 free freight. For 10 bolt with 8.5" R.G.
