It's 65 and raining. In a couple of hours it will start to drop and be in the teens by morning. All those wet car doors will now freeze shut. Single digits Monday morning. Winter around here is rough on northerners. They see the lack of snow, most of the time, as a good thing. Then they get one of our ice storms and suddenly all that snow doesn't seem so bad.

Teens above zero is a heat wave. We haven't been up into the +teens in 2 1/2 weeks. My thermometer never got above -15 today. Tonight it is supposed to drop to at least -30.

Snow really is great. It protects everything from the cold. Rain and ice is nasty in cold weather. Snow is nice.

Your deck looks just like mine, Bandit.

Spent over an hour this morning clearing out the neighbor's and my driveway.
I haven't gotten around to cleaning off the deck and that job is simply going to have to wait a couple more days.

    Shoveling?
It took me an hour with a lawn tractor and 42" two-stage blower!
(My neighbor and I have a lot of driveway, about 5000 sq/ft.)
