By the later 1970s, I noticed that some cars had build sheet copies laying in the front floor area, rh side. I collected several like that, including '77+ Z/28s. That's where the one for my '77 LT was, with others possibly in other places.

So, with the build sheets in the floor area, they were tossed out with the plastic seat covers and other "debris" as trash, by observation. Getting everything cleaned up for putting them on the lot for sale.

Restored a few early 70,s Chevelle's and they would often stuff them in the seat springs.
Also found on the top of the gas tank for some silly reason.
I have to wonder if this sheet was stuffed or crammed by the seat back cover and then migrated to the bottom.

Nice find for certain!! I found mine as well.

My question is why did they put them "anywhere" in the car, instead of handing them to the original owner upon purchase?

My 03C 70 vanuys L78 had a build sheet same location. Also a jig saw puzzle. I did put the puzzle together. It was quite a chore. It's the 2nd build sheet I have for it.
