I purchased this z about 5 years ago from the brother of the original owner. He purchased it in 1999 from his brother. He pulled in his brothers yard in 1975 to find him stripping the code 26 Mulsan blue paint off the body. He decided two years after buying the car new he wanted it white (nuts).
After buying a new to me house and building a new building, getting the wifes 67 rs conv on the road im ready to start the build. I plan on doing a full rotisserie back to factory concourse restoration. I really need all the help I can get from everyone to get this correct. I have thick skin so give me your thoughts.
The brothers told me the car has never been in a accident so im looking forward to having it dustless blasted to see. Up first will be lining up the factory fender and door gaps before ripping it apart. As you can see in the pics the 2 owner started a engine build, I will pull it back apart to check the clearances. Again, I want your help and experience on this build. thanks Mike $(KGrHqR,!lgFELguHEUHBRefit5W4g~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16h,!wsE9suw0PtWBReewF8Dgw~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16h,!zEE9s3!Z)VdBRee33C6Rg~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16N,!)kE9s4Z-u5hBReeo4pC-w~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16N,!)QE9s3HD)KrBRefG+hu3w~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16N,!)UE9s3wBeW9BReenJj!n!~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16R,!ykE9s7t)dOqBRee0+uoeg~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16V,!zcE9s4g3NSfBReelBNKj!~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16Z,!)kE9s4,BE(iBReel6OBiQ~~60_3.jpg $T2eC16Z,!)QE9s3HFh9jBRee1Sy-Yg~~60_3.jpg

Code 26 is growing on me fast. That's what my 73 was too. Wasn't nuts about it at first, but seeing bodymanbill's coming together, I like the color a lot. Great solid looking start, good luck with the build.

yes If I can find the covers for the seats, Any ideas.
They should be easier to find than the covers for my 73 LT z28.

Not off hand . I was just wondering. It seems all that I’ve see have given up on it and gone with muscle car black . I never really looked for recovers though . 73 was a sort of strange year as the 779 neutral came with a shat brindle carpet and package tray .. but if you were savy or the dealer wanted a car that sold without replacing the carpet , you could get “ accent carpet ” in blue , red or black . 19F Black , 74F red and 24F blue ..
