LS identification without VIN ?

I recently purchased a 2nd Gen Camaro with LS Power, the seller had no documentation on the build. I’m trying to figure out what it is. There are some good sites that relate VIN to version, but I have no idea what the donor was. It’s an iron block with the cam sensor on the front, any clues what to look for to identify what it is ?
