Hi guys, im rebuilding a 1974 LT z28 from its ashes. Vin 1S87T4N 144341
I have some doubts on the interior,
in the trim tag I see 780 code that is neutral cloth. but the dash is black and depending on the panel im looking its painted in camel tan or black, the steering wheel its also black.
i have to buy most of the interior again but I intend to restore it as original. and i think it should be camel tan.
is there any way to see what was the combination of the interior ? or just with the trim code i have all the answers?
Ill be painting the car in the original color code 53 53 light Gold and want to make it as close to a show car.
ill post some pictures of the project and advances.

I think there’s been some tag swapping going on in the past as that’s not a 74 back window in your first group of pics.

Yes I know. The Vin on the Dashboard Says it’s a 74 and also the trim tag. And several parts. Concur with the trim tag like the color code. 53 light gold. That’s why I’m closing that rear window

It would be interesting to see if the floor is shaped for a catalytic converter.

The floorpans look to have been replaced. Does the hidden vin on the firewall match the dash vin. You will have to remove the heater or ac suitcase half on the firewall side.
