what have most done for a driveline into a second gen , I have a new HD aluminum 3" for a 95 bird but its too short, t-56 spicer yoke front, 9" ford rear, which is the combo I'm running? would it be cheaper to get this one rebuilt? or is there a factory swap from a newer gm.
I had my factory drive shaft cut down. I believe a Mustang drive shaft from I believe around 95 fits without trouble. I know I came across it doing a search back when I was researching before I started my swap.
I had a new drive shaft made for mine and they really arent all that expensive and you get one that is made to fit no guess work at all.
hey Matt long time no see. How you been? I also had a brand new driveshaft made for mine. I wouldnt waste my time with a stock shaft.
I got the mid 80s 2WD Blazer driveshaft from a junk yard for 15 bucks. If all goes well I will find out this weekend if it fits like they say! Tom
Hows it going Sam? Been alright I guess had a couple more surgeries on my ankle last year so that slowed me down a bit. As far as the camaro goes it is still locked up in the trailer and has had negative progress made on it in the last 2 years as I found out the clutch is stuck on it now and I cant wait to see how much its gonna cost me to fix that since its a twin disc setup. I am still around here all the time just usually in the bs area.
