Hey Dave, know if they make one for a reverse manual valve body? I looked through the info and all I saw was for the forward model. Neat upgrade. Always thought that was a great looking shifter. Kid has one in his first gen.

Hello to all. Yes, I have the same True Slap shifting features available for reverse manual valve bodies. I have them for Powerglides, 3 speeds, and overdrives.

Thanks for the reply Dan. I'll let him know. It's a TH400. He loves the shifter in his car. This would make it even better. Kids Camaro 005.JPG

Thanks for your interest. There are videos showing how they are used on YouTube. You can search for the words True Slap detent.

I've now sold a little over 100 of these detents. They are made in Hannibal, Missouri, satisfaction guaranteed, and I've not had anyone request a refund.

They are an upgrade to the Thomson Performance and Shiftworks detents, and I have a patent pending.

He obviously doesn't know about my detent upgrade.
His shifter looks alot different than the original handle. I've seen some of his videos before. The entire shifter must be changed out and there are many more moving parts than the OEM shifter has. I wonder about the price?

I've had a couple of guys ask if I make a True Slap detent plate for the overdrives. Yes, I do. They also can be slapped for the 1-2 upshift, and the 2-3 upshift, without having to squeeze the handle at all, just like the 3 speed version. I didn't put a slap shift feature on it for the 3-OD upshift because nobody races in overdrive, but I could if someone wanted it.

My detents are $95, shipping included.
