It's amazing how much money companies spend on marketing, as McDonald's is infamous for making it obvious they target kids. After all, look at Ronald McDonald. Here's something interesting, though. My 8 yr old daughter just pointed out something which she noticed a while ago about the new Wendy's girl. See if you can catch it. It's somewhat subliminal. I didn't catch it at all. Perhaps it takes a kid's perspective to see it? I don't know.
