^^^^It was lot S53.
That 69 Camaro you mentioned when you looked at the dash it resembled a full size 61Chevy and the engine was either a 348 or a 409 even had the 61 348 trunk emblem. It was really cool looking
It was a 409 punched out to 427.
I prefer a 4-spd too, but have to admit auto with the right shift kit isn't too shabby either.
My first car, '70 Camaro sport coupe with built 350 & TH350 was pretty fun, and later my '70 SS454 Chevelle with built motor and tweaked TH400 was a blast
6-speed vs. 5-speed vs. 4-speed manual vs. 2-speed vs. 3-speed vs. 4-speed auto, RS vs. non-RS vs. fake RS, big block vs. small block vs. LS swap, blah blah blah. Those who have this vs. those who have that. I'll only drive, own, borrow, or steal this car vs. every other car made and its variations.
Maybe someone pissed in my cornflakes this morning, but who the hell really cares? Those kinds of conversations have beat that poor old dead horse into the ground so far he just popped up in China.
Billy...breathe deeply...again...breathe deeply. LOL!
That new roofline seems to clean it up a bit.
Amazing amount of work on that 69, but, I don't like it at all. I'd like to have that W motor in a 55 Chevy though.
Makes me think his dream car was a 61 bubble top, and he tried to make one. Looks too much like a Corvair for me.
