Mothers clay bar system

Getting my car ready for the power tour, I decided to try the clay bar system and what a difference in made. I should of done this years ago as it removed all the grit and grime.

I will use Meguires or Mothers wax to finish it off. I haven't got that far yet.

Oh yeah, if yall dont know, feel your paint when you are washing your car, it should feel like glass. If you feel tiny bits of grit almost like grains of sand, you need to clay bar

i jusst got done using a claybar on my camaro after parking under a bunch of pine tree's at a car show yesterday that dripped sap all over my paint and windows . the paint looks really nice and smooth as glass and my windshield and rear window are so clear it's unbelievable

I just picked up the Meguiars clay kit. I'm excited, your car looks terrific 71camaro383

I will use Meguires or Mothers wax to finish it off. I haven't got that far yet.

Most of my paint is original on my 1970 SS L78, so I really noticed a difference too after using the Mother's clay bar! (Tried it on a newer paint job, and it was not really noticeable on a test patch.)

I have been using Liquid Glass for most of the 41 years I have owned the car. I try some new stuff once in a while, but always go back to the old standby, I haven't found anything really that much better. (Just make SURE you have the vehicle CLEAN before you apply it!)
