While working at the shop today had a mouse run in through the door. It's still in there I think. Anyone have tricks to get mice out and keep them out? I'm only there about once a week, so worried about the smell of a corpse as well
I always keep a few packets of rodent poison laying around the edges of the garage. They come in, stop for lunch, and are never heard from again.
I dont like killing them, but sometimes u have to. You can get poison that dries them out when they die. No rotting corpse smell.
I have had 2 in the garage in the last year. Glue traps with some peanut butter works or the snap trap with peanut butter works too, just make sure you put rubber cloves on as they can smell your hands on the trap. Both kill'em dead.
I have 4 Victor sonic PestChasers in my 2.5 car garage. They work well, as i find no rodent traces since I began using them. I also use snap traps for mice and rats inside and outside as we have birds of prey in the area so I dont want to use poison. They never spring in the garage, but catch them outside often.
