My 1970 Z/28 RS with M22 - More pics.

So it stopped raining long enough to get the new ride out and take some pictures. There was a small Show and Shine at a local festival down the road in Jefferson and most the pictures are from that.

The 45 Green Mist wasn't on my short list of colors for sure, but the overall options on the car won me over. The color is much better in person, but i keep wondering how big of a sin it would be to change it to a darker green or tweak the Green Mist with some silver when I get correct hood and am ready to paint.

I would leave the paint color alone or the car will be worth less. Some people just can't leave chit alone, but since it's your car, do what you want to please yourself. I love that color.

IMHO The originality vs personal preference argument is why so many of these cars are jacked up and a mess these days. One persons tasteful mods are another nightmare. I had already figured that this wasn't the car to be painting a different color than what it was born with, but I admit the thought did cross my mind. I bought a car as original as I could afford / find and I am sure it will stay this color going forward, and like I said the color is much better in person.

I have yet to find another Z28 RS with this color in my internet searching, has anyone seen one?

A friend of mine used to own a California '73 LT Z28 in the same color.

I like that color as you don't see many of them around, it will certainly take away from the value and originality if you change it.

Thanks! I am not sure on the hood, Its fiberglass and could fit much better. I'll take a look and see if there are any Manufacture marks and get back to you all the same..
