My 1971 LS Swapped Pro-Touring Project

    I'll have about an inch gap at the dome light section, that if I tried to tighten down it will distort the fiberglass....plan is to use long screws at the domelight and apply some thick jute material on the backside to take up the space and insulate the car better. My bow headliner didn't have any kind of material (other than sound deadening) between the roof and fabric and it was pretty noisy going down the road.

    Agreed. If I ever did a protouring car, I'd buy all of his stuff. :)

    I love that idea for the headliner, I'm thinking I might try that myself when I manage to get working on my car again! I've got a 3D printer/laser/CNC unit as well that I would love to setup and see what things I can come up with.

    Finally got the headliner finished, Pretty happy with the way it turned out. I glued 1/4" jute padding on the backside to help with heat and sound proofing. Roof also has a few layers of fatmat too.
