They Came in, I'm really impressed on how comfortable and bolstered they are. The drivers adjusters in the seat are rusted together a little so I am going to have to soak them in PB blaster, but they will be fine.

Gonna check with a local shop tomorrow and get a quote to recover them and my rear seat

Part of me is going back and forth on maybe having just the front covered in oem materials to match the back seats I already have. I just can't get past the welting and the vertical pleats on an original seat, not sure if that pattern would like right on these. Especially since the vertical pleats stop at the front edge of the seat and doesn't wrap around and under. Be hard to do that on these seats and look right.

Also going back and forth with having these seats recovered in a vinyl with hounds-tooth cloth inserts or all vinyl as well.

they look comfy. Kinda reminds me back in the day when people would buy Fiero seats, they put really good seats in those cars.

I'm not gonna lie, they are REALLY comfortable. I fell into them and didn't move around lol. The side bolsters can be adjusted in and out on the drivers side.

Here's a side by side comparison of both bottoms and the spacing from center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole if anyone is interested

Here's an example of bending the tab at the front on the tracks flat so it fits the floorpan. Just put it in a vise and make it flat

Got the passenger seat mounted so far, I have seen some people modify the base where the tracks bolt to the seats or re-drill holes in the floor.

I just modified the base of the tracks by drilling new holes to locate the tracks in the holes in the floor, works fine this way.

I may go back and weld a washer on top or something to clean up the hole, but I'm happy with the way it turned out.

These seats are SUPER comfortable, I can't stress that enough.

I don't like the bolts being off-set like that so I am thinking about getting some steel plate and make some off sets that can weld on top of that. It will make it look better and stronger at the same time. I just need to do one track on each side.

Found a local upholster that was suggested by several members of the local car club in my area. I talked to him and was impressed by the cleanliness of his shop and professionalism.

He quoted me $1,000 to do the front seats and match the rears in a madrid black vinyl and black velour inserts

Dropped them off this morning. I also asked if he could do a french double stitching on the seams instead of welt or a regular seam and he said no problem. That should really set these seats off.

I've went back and forth with all vinyl or vinyl and houndstooth. But in the end I wanted cloth inserts for comfort and I think the velour wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. It's a nice velour with a texture and he's going to match the pleats in the 300zx seats and mirror that on the rear.

Yeah it's unfortunate the car lost it's "classic american muscle" status the minute I welded on a AMD replacement panel a long time ago

Now it's a Classic American, Chinese, Mexican and now japanese Muscle :D
