Hi Matt, I have a blue 79 Z. Here are a couple of pics, mine is a 4 speed with 108k original miles, original paint as well. I have had her about 23 years. Do something every year to her. This last year she got new cam, aluminum heads, gear drive. runs great!! Good luck and treat her sweet!! Expect to see some rust issues (floor board above exhaust but stay positive. I have an 81 Z28 that I bought in Florida, drove to Texas, shipped to and drove in Korea for a year, then shipped to Alaska and finally settled in Ga. Yup, as you may have guessed, prior military. My 2nd gen has been old faithful, took a licken and kept on ticken. I started striping the inside down and found small rust areas but for the age of our vehicles it is to be expected. Keep posting the info I'm looking forward to monitoring the progress.
