I'll post more pictures tonight after I get the control arms off, but last night I had a little time and within an hour I had both coil springs out. Glad I paid to have them changed out last year since the PTFB comp springs are shorter they came right out. Used a safety chain and my floor jack and all went very easily.
A tip for you when putting those lowers arms on. Before you put the rubber pad in, mark the spring stop with a marker on the side wall inside the spring pocket. Also mark the front edge of the spring, this will allow you too look up inside the spring once you have the lower arm in place to make sure you have it seated properly.
If you have trouble putting the lower control arms in, you made need to spread the mounting flanges out. The best way to do that is with 4 nuts and washers and a stick of all thread.
Thanks for the heads up. I did see the thread that was talking about doing that for the lower mounts. I have the stuff to do it, but haven't gotten to that point yet. That was probably the next step after cleaning and mock up.
